A lost parcel leads to uncovering the truth
One of our lovely PRYA customers called up chasing an order update as her necklace was nowhere to be seen after ordering next day delivery. We tracked it for her and it confirmed delivery was successful a few days prior. When discussing her order she didn’t recognise the delivery address at all despite the fact she had placed it herself. However, the customer then confirmed that she had placed the order using her husband's work laptop and the address may have auto corrected to his work address. She did a little more investigation on the actual address and we received an email from her a few days later that the auto correct address was actually a local Gay bar. It turns out he had been having an affair with the owner of the bar for over a year!

"He gave me a photo of him cheating as a gift by accident"
"He gave me a photo of him cheating as a gift by accident"
I had been with my partner for over a year and he had gone on a work trip to a local landmark in Dubai where we live. He had earned this trip as part of a bonus and said he had to go with his manager, Dave as part of team building. He spent the day on the trip and on an all expenses paid evening out with work afterwards. He brought me home a souvenir from the trip which was a coaster with the landmark on the front. Cute. This coaster had a QR code on the back of it which I scanned and up popped a photo of my boyfriend kissing a girl he had been dating behind my back in front of the landmark! The coaster was a freebie they use to get you to buy the photo taken. Safe to say he’s now an EX.

"He tried to make me jump out of a second floor window to save his bacon"
"He tried to make me jump out of a second floor window to save his bacon"
I met a guy online and we shared maybe 6 months of dating. I had never seen his place in these 6 months and he always made some excuse to come over to my place. I assumed that he had a house he was embarrassed of or lived with his Mum or something. Everything was going great until one evening he invited me back to his place. He lived alone it seemed and definitely no Mum in sight. We were watching a movie and chilling when the key went in the door. I looked at him confused thinking maybe he has a roommate or something, but it was only a 1 bedroom. The guy ran so fast to the front door to hold it closed and tried to usher me into his bedroom and OUT OF THE WINDOW from the second floor shouting there must be a burglar coming in quick get out! I didn’t leave and instead went to investigate. Stood there at the front door with 4 suitcases was his long term partner surprising him by coming home early from studying abroad!!

"My Ex asked for his Christmas present after we broke up"
"My Ex asked for his Christmas present after we broke up"
I was dating a guy in a long distance relationship. I was from Manchester he was South London. We met each other a number of times, and had weekends together alternating at mine and his. This went on for around a year. It got to Christmas time and I had booked us 2 nights in a luxury London hotel and theatre tickets for him for Christmas. He bought me a personalised number plate and a personalised necklace with his initials on it- CUTE! It was just the number plate placeholder at this point, though as the actual registration certificate was still in processing apparently. Around a month after Christmas, we broke up amicably at first as the distance was just too much for us. Then I got a text… ‘Can you send over my christmas present please. Those tickets and hotel booking” I reply “Er… OK I booked it for us together but, whatever” So I text back the e-tickets and asked him if he could send me the registration documents for the number plate so that I could get it registered, making sure to thank him again as I loved it so much. He then replies: It was on Klarna, if you pay for the last 2 instalments you can have it. 🤣

"Surprise holiday not meant for me"
"Surprise holiday not meant for me"
I was with my now ex-partner for 17 years. I kept insisting I wanted to get married, or at least engaged but he would spend all his money on expensive holidays or golf-trips instead. One evening I came home to a Thomas Cook letter on the floor under the letterbox. My curiosity got the better of me and I opened it, mainly to see if he’d booked us a surprise getaway or if this was another one of his many work trips. To my absolute horror I found a long list of names on the booking information sheet; my [now-ex] boyfriend, two women, and three children. I didn’t recognise any of the names. After a very heated argument I’ve since found out that he was planning to take his WIFE, her mum and their three kids on an all expenses paid holiday. I suppose having two different families is very expensive for one man, which explains why I never got that engagement ring 🙁.

"He just gave me the ick over and over"
"He just gave me the ick over and over"
I’m a very fast person, I have high functioning anxiety and ocd- I like things done right, and clean. I LIVE for multitasking but this man….. was my opposite! He would take his socks off at the end of a long day at work and they were BROWN and smelly and he would leave them on the coffee table! Don’t even get me started on what he did with his toenails… I also once watched him use 8 plates, 5 bowls and 3 glasses to make ONE smoothie- and by the time the fruit actually made it in the blender, 1 hour and 25 minutes had passed. Safe to say I couldn’t take it anymore which is why he’s now my Ex

"He Kidnapped me on a plane"
"He Kidnapped me on a plane"
I recently met a high flyer from London. He flew me to Paris for the weekend for our second date and really made an effort. I arrived to meet him at Heathrow airport and all was good, the drinks were flowing and we were getting on like a house on fire. We get to the gate, board the plane and the second the plane left the tarmac, he tells me he is married!! He didn't want to tell me before as he knew I wouldn't have turned up, so decided the better course of action was to get me onto a locked plane and break it there! No wonder he wanted me as far from London for our date as possible- fear of being spotted by his WIFE.
