No. All PRYA necklaces are made from stainless steel with 18K gold or silver plating, designed to stay tarnish free with regular wear. You can shower, swim, and sweat in them without worrying about the finish.

Are PRYA necklaces suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The stainless steel base we use is hypoallergenic, making our necklaces a safe choice for sensitive skin. If you have a confirmed nickel allergy, check the product page for full material details before purchasing.

What chain length should I choose?

It depends on your neckline and how you want to style it. A 16 inch chain sits at the collarbone and works well solo or as the shortest layer in a stack. An 18 inch chain sits just below the collarbone, the most versatile length for everyday wear. A 20 inch or longer chain works well for pendants or as the base of a layered look. How do I layer necklaces without them tangling?

Keep a minimum 2 inch difference between each chain length. Mix textures, a fine snake chain with a chunkier curb or a classic chain, to add visual interest and reduce the chance of tangling. Shorter chains with pendants work best closest to the neck.
