The Kyra T-bar is a statement piece for when you want to add something a little unusual into the mix. It is a pendant necklace but with unique style choices for its chain, fastening and dropped pendant.
Unlike most pendant necklaces that use a simple link chain, this necklace uses the trending paper clip or paper chain style links. This adds a unique element that you don’t see every day. The chain is thin in-depth with long loops for each link that interlink with the next one just like a paper clip chain. Instead of a trigger clasp, the design features a beautiful T-bar fastening that sits at the front, behind the pendant. Instead of hiding the clasp at the nape of the neck, our design brings it front and centre. That’s because we want to feature the beautiful detailing of this fastening. The loop part of the T-bar has a bamboo style texture, while the T-bar is covered in beautiful clear cubic zirconia.
The pendant is suspended from the chain with a thin metal bail that attaches directly to the pendant backing. The pendant is a rectangle with a thin band of gold surrounding the gemstone with edging detail. The cubic zirconia gemstone is bezel set onto the facing and is cut styled into a straightforward baguette cut with slightly rounded corners. The jewel is inspired by the gemstone Onyx and has a deep, opaque black colour.
